CG movie with client - Guild Wars Forums

There are supposed to be more cgs than the intro we saw, but for those of us that choose not to install the game via cd when we get the game. How do we watch those cgs??

Does it work by receiving it through the streaming technology and then watch it when we make a character? I mean although it isn't all that important to me to watch it, but its eyecandy worth watching

won't they be on the CD of the final game? You still have to get that even it you have the client.

But from my understanding you can use the client that you used for BWE. The only thing you need is the cd key from your box? Or am I entirely incorrect? I'm pretty sure it was in a faq somewhere or answered somewhere in the forums

i would think that if Arenanet deemed it necessary for you to have the CG animations, it would likely be downloaded during the client update portion. personally, i would like to see it as optional since there may still be dial-up users out there that may end up purchasing the game electronically, (which i also believe will be available upon release).

It wont be an issue, since the cinematic will be on the CD that you buy.
